John was trained at Burnley College, a division of the Melbourne University which is one of Australia’s oldest college’s specialising in horticulture. In 2002, John commenced trading as Monkey Business Tree Service where he began assisting the Sunshine Coast with tree removals, pruning and all other aspects of tree work. John’s business has grown considerably since commencement, having forged strong allegiances with many reputable Sunshine Coast & Queensland construction companies and insurers.

Our team are highly experienced to ensure the safety of your family and home. All pruning is undertaken in accordance with Australian Arboricultural Standards to maintain the health and stability of the tree. Where required, branch sections are lowered using rope and pulley systems to avoid impact on property / infrastructure below. We take pride in ensuring we leave your yard in a respectable manner following tree works.

All staff employed by Monkey Business Tree Service hold current Federal Police Checks and you are most welcome to request this information.

We specialise in emergency (make-safe) operations where trees have impacted your home / other infrastructure and may be posing a risk to your family or further damage to your home.
